Kolla in världens största vågor i Nazaré
Cirka 50 minuter med bil från Baleal väntar Praia do Norte där enorma vågor rullar in från november till mars. Självklart finns här mer att erbjuda än bara vågor. Utforska fyren som också är ett museum för big wave-surfing, promenera runt det vackra torget och njut av de hisnande vyerna över klippor och stränder.

Portugal has about 3,000 hours of sunshine and, with its Mediterranean climate, means warm summers and mild winters, with hardly any summer rain. Even in winter, the amount of rain is relatively low. Baleal has very small temperature differences thanks to the moderating effect of the sea in combination with the region's Mediterranean climate. The temperature therefore becomes pleasant all year round and during the winter months it rarely falls below 14 degrees in the shade, which means significantly warmer in the sun and around 7 hours of sunshine! The sea temperature is between 14-20 degrees.
